... could be the name of this royal exhibition taking you to the world of sweet and charming Queen of May, Marie-José de Savoie, former Princess of Piémont and last Queen of Italy... for one month... in May 1946.

Hubert de GIVENCHY and Philippe VENET the famous masters or Haute-Couture Parisienne have signed the scenography, and lead you to the lure of a sophisticated time in history of fashion at its best in years 1930-1940.

Silks are from Lyon, design is Parisian, but the workshops were Italians and Torinese... by the will of smart Prince Umberto, later King.

Dresses are borrowed from FOUNDATION MARIE-JOSE AND UMBERTO OF SAVOY, upon kind decision of Princesse Marie-Gabriele de Savoie who keeps those pieces of exception in Geneva.

It is the first time dresses and mantels are shown abroad Italy.

Fashion jewelry in crystal and CUBIC ZIRCONIA is provided by Stéphane MARANT for PRIVILEGE, and associated to the magnificent pearl-work of Kenneth Jay LANE from New-York.
